  • 8 small flour or corn tortillas
  • Shredded cabbage or lettuce, for topping
  • Chopped fresh cilantro, for topping
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Ingredients for Creamy Chipotle Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1-2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (depending on desired spice level), minced
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce (from the canned chipotle peppers)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Salt, to taste

Directions

Step 1: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Step 2: In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, DAK’s Taco Knight, salt, and pepper to create a marinade for the fish.

Step 3: Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and then brush them generously with the marinade mixture.

Step 4: Place the fish fillets on the preheated grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and easily flakes with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fish.

Step 5: While the fish is grilling, prepare the creamy chipotle sauce by mixing together the mayonnaise, minced chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, lime juice, honey, and salt in a small bowl. Adjust the seasoning to taste.

Step 6: Once the fish is cooked, transfer it to a plate and break it into smaller pieces using a fork.

Step 7: Warm the tortillas on the grill for about 20-30 seconds on each side.

Step 8: To assemble the tacos, place some of the grilled fish on each tortilla, top with shredded cabbage or lettuce, chopped cilantro, and a drizzle of creamy chipotle sauce. Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top. Enjoy your delicious grilled fish tacos with creamy chipotle sauce!
