How are products shipped? Products purchased are shipped directly from the vendors represented on Front Porch Alabama. You can view each vendor’s shipping policy by clicking on the shipping tab within an individual product description.

Can I choose a different shipping method? Because the shipping method is determined by the seller of the product, unfortunately, there is not an option to switch to a specific carrier or choose a different shipping method at this time. We understand that having flexibility in shipping preferences is important, and we appreciate your understanding as we work with our sellers to provide the best possible shipping options.

How can I change my shipping address? When you create a shopper account on Front Porch Alabama you have the option to save your billing address and shipping address within your account for a faster checkout. The addresses can be updated at any time by logging into your customer account by clicking account which is next to the cart icon in the top right corner of the site.

What are my payment methods? Front Porch Alabama uses payment processor Stripe which provides a world renown secure credit card processing system. We accept these major credit cards Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB.

How can I change my payment method? When you create a shopper account on Front Porch Alabama you have the option to save your credit card information within your account for a faster checkout. The card can be updated at any time by logging into your customer account by clicking account which is next to the cart icon in the top right corner of the site.

Am I required to create a shopper account profile to checkout? Creating a shopper account is optional on Front Porch Alabama. You can always shop and check out as a guest. The shopper account offers you the ability to check out faster by saving your account details. You can also view all of your current and past orders within your shopper account. You can find your customer account by clicking account which is next to the cart icon in the top right corner of the site.

Front Porch Alabama is a Marketplace of amazing shops, artists and makers from all over the state. We hope you love all of your purchases from Front Porch, but we know sometimes things don’t go as expected. We’re here to help! We accept refunds on all products except for nonreturnable items within 30 days of your purchase. It is important you contact us within 14 days of receiving the item so we can help you with next steps.

In the event that you would like to cancel or return an order, please contact us immediately. You have 14 days from the receipt of the item to let Front Porch Alabama know there is an issue, and a total of up to 30 days from the receipt of the item to return it, if that is required. 

Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable. If a return is made of an item that shipped with free shipping, the normal shipping charges for the shipping method used will be deducted from any refund. Some items may be subject to a restocking fee. Made to order items may incur significantly higher restocking fees per the manufacturer’s return policy. A fee of 3.15% +.30 cents will be deducted from refund amounts as our credit card processor does not refund fees charged to us.

The Front Porch team and/or the merchant will reach out to you with next steps which may include returning the item to the merchant. 

We will make all attempts to accommodate returns/refunds, however some items are non-refundable, including some closeout items. Please refer to our nonreturnable list.
