Darlene McMullan is a self-taught mixed media artist and the owner of DM Art. She has always had a love for all things art throughout her life including painting, creating and collecting!
As her two children grew older, she started back painting abstract oceans and landscapes, and within a few years added mixed media to her portfolio. Along with her love for art, she has always collected crosses. A friend asked her to create a mixed media cross for a gift back in 2018 and her cross block business took off from there! Darlene loves the creative process of working with textures and resin on wood, and being able to share her faith with others by making her signature cross and hymn wood blocks.
Darlene is native to Huntsville, Alabama and currently resides there with her husband. When she is not busy creating in her home studio, she loves to travel to the beach and the mountains, and spend time with her children and their families.
