For more than 20 years, our family has begun Christmas dinner by reading Scripture on our plates, a simple tradition that keeps Christ at the center of the season.
Today, the women at King’s Home proudly present these handcrafted plates through the jobs program, Prodigal Pottery. We hope your family will join us in this tradition and enjoy it as much as we have.
Inspired by the Christmas Story
Inspired by Luke 2:7–14, each collection tells the story of the shepherds, the angel’s announcement, and the birth of Jesus through beautifully handcrafted Scripture plates.
Each plate features deep red lettering, hand-painted metallic gold accents, and a coordinating holly-and-berry border, creating a timeless heirloom designed for meaningful Christmas gatherings. As each verse is read around the table, the Christmas story unfolds, making Christ the center of your family’s celebration.

Each piece is individually handcrafted by the women of Prodigal Pottery, a jobs program of King’s Home that provides employment, hope, and restoration for women overcoming homelessness, abuse, addiction, and trafficking.
Because every plate is made by hand, slight variations in lettering, glaze, shape, and finish are part of the handmade process and make every collection truly one of a kind.

- Do not microwave due to the genuine metallic gold detailing.

Shipping Policy
Processing Time
The time needed to prepare an order for shipping varies. Most items are ready to ship within 1-2 weeks. For details, please contact us.
Customs and Import Taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs.
Lost Items/Damages
We are not responsible for items that are lost by the post office. If you do not receive your item in a timely manner, please use the tracking number sent to you in your shipping confirmation e-mail and contact your postal service. If you receive an item that is damaged during transit, we do offer replacements within 3 days of receiving your product. If you do not contact us within 3 days of receiving your broken item, we will not ship out a replacement item.
