Summer’s Calling! Answer With A Refreshing Transfusion
A famous golf course libation, the Transfusion cocktail is a refreshing choice with or without golf clubs in tow. Here at Front Porch Alabama, we love to sip a Transfusion lakeside, poolside, beachside—let’s be honest, sitting near any body of water does it for us!

Fruity and sparkling, the Transfusion will be your go-to cocktail for summer. The classic recipe calls for a refreshing blend of vodka, grape juice, lime juice and ginger ale. The grape juice gives it a fruity zing, the ginger ale brings a spicy fizz, the vodka delivers the punch and the lime juice brightens all the flavors with a touch of citrus. For a twist on the recipe, substitute tequila or bourbon for the vodka. When you want to step up your game, freeze grapes and use them instead of ice cubes. Not only do frozen grapes look amazing when serving the drink, but there’s no melting ice diluting your beverage.
