Star Spangled 250th Spectacular

Celebrate the 4th of July the OWA way during the Star Spangled 250th Spectacular! This celebration brings Downtown OWA to life with patriotic activities, interactive experiences, live entertainment, and plenty of spots to stop, watch, and join in.

Watch the 250th Independence Day Parade roll through Downtown OWA, then stick around as live music takes over OWA Island and keeps the energy going into the evening. End the night with a fireworks show that brings the celebration to a perfect close.

Don’t miss the Red, White, & Chew Watermelon Eating Competition on OWA Island! Kids kick things off from 5:15–5:30 pm, racing to finish 1/16 of a watermelon, followed by adults from 5:30–5:45 pm taking on the challenge of finishing 1/8 of a watermelon.

• 2:00 – 8:00 pm: Stars, Stripes, & Sawdust live chainsaw artist on OWA Island
• 4:00 – 5:00 pm: 250^th Independence Day Parade throughout Downtown OWA
• 5:30 – 8:50 pm: Live entertainment on OWA Island
• 8:50 – 9:05 pm: Fireworks Show
