Decatur: The Spirit of America Festival

Join us for the 60th Annual Spirit of America Festival, presented by North Alabama Pepsi, on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Point Mallard Park in Decatur, Alabama.

As an official America 250 Alabama event, this year’s celebration is part of the statewide commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the United States. Spirit of America has been bringing the Decatur community together for generations, and we’re proud to continue that tradition as America marks this historic milestone! 

The day begins with competitive golf and pickleball tournaments, followed by the annual Kids Bike Parade and a Car & Motorcycle Show. As the afternoon transitions into evening, festival grounds come alive with food trucks, local vendors, a Kids Zone packed with activities, and free live music featuring Bob & The Fog and Lamont Landers. The celebration concludes with a fireworks show at 9:00 PM over Point Mallard Park.
