CCA Crawfest

Join fellow conservationists and seafood lovers for an unforgettable evening at the Birmingham Zoo Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 5:50 pm to 9 pm. Presented by The Thomas E. Jernigan Foundation, Crawfest is the Coastal Conservation Association of Alabama’s premier fundraising event, supporting Alabama’s coastal fisheries and marine habitat conservation since 1982.

Our annual Crawfest fundraiser is more than just a party — it’s the heartbeat of our conservation mission in Alabama. Every dollar raised goes directly toward protecting the waters, fish, and coastal habitats that define our Gulf Coast way of life. From fighting harmful legislation to releasing redfish fingerlings into Gulf waters, CCA Alabama is on the front lines every single day. Crawfest is how we power that work.

CCA Alabama was the first state chapter outside of Texas, where a small group of conservation-minded individuals founded what has become the most effective saltwater conservation membership organization of its kind. With eight chapters and over 2,200 members statewide, we work to conserve marine resources for future generations.
