Angels & Company Founder Frances Jones launched the company in 2022 as a way to create jobs in her small community when a textile factory shut down. Today these skilled seamstresses make timeless silhouettes in classic fabrics that let children be children. This American-made clothing brand is more than just a label; it’s a celebration of tradition, community, and childhood innocence.

Angels & Company was born from the vision of Frances Jones, a Monroeville native with a passion for timeless children’s clothing. Inspired by her desire to dress her grandchildren in pieces that echoed the charm and grace of yesteryear, Frances joined forces with her longtime friend Ann Schaum to create a line that blends heritage design with enduring quality. Their goal was simple but powerful: to let children be children—in garments that reflect a simpler, more graceful time.

Drawing on Monroeville’s rich textile legacy—the town was once home to a Vanity Fair manufacturing plant—Angels & Company provides meaningful employment to skilled seamstresses who were displaced by the factory’s closure. By bringing production back home, Frances not only revived a lost art but also helped restore a sense of pride and purpose within her community.
